some news
Friday, April 24th, 2009So I recieved my copy of the Tate Publishing Illustration Catalog today. It’s funny that my illustration is next to a boy shining shoes. A full spread of child labor! How novel…did they do that on purpose? Do they know I’ve also illustrated that before? Editors are strange.
My short film, Living Without Nikki, was screened at Pratt’s Wallabout Film Festival last night. It didn’t win, but there were some great ones that made fun of Long Island and art school critiques. It was a good time. Here’s one of the winners:

today and tomorrow

Somewhere I go within the interwebs every day for inspiration is todayandtomorrow.net. It’s a blog that features illustration, design, fine art, video art, and just overall really cool and interesting things. I’m not usually a fan of graphic or product design, but the pieces on this blog are always pretty clever and innovative.
The above illustration is by Brock Davis, and here’s a video that personifies a group of marbles. It makes me smile.
…it all?
