Thanks to everyone who came to the show on Monday! It went really well and was way more fun than expected. Too bad it was only up for one day…but did anyone stay the full 6 hours?!

I had this illustration in Plan B Magazine in April. Maybe you’ve seen it? It’s not an illustration I’m particularly proud of…it was pretty rushed and I felt kind of unguided. It turns out the final version was changed without my permission. It’s not a big deal, I just wish I was informed before hand, because I was pretty surprised when I saw it. It’s a touchy subject, secretly retouching illustrations, so I’ll just leave it at that! Here’s the original.

Also, if you’ve got time, the Parsons AMT Thesis Exhibit is up until May 23rd at 2 West 13th Street, NYC. Here is some signage I did for the illustration section. It’s on a SK8BRD! Illustration’s on the move…? I did one board that says “PROG”, which when put with the other four boards, makes Illustration Program. Interesting.

Yes. It’s on a toilet. My roommates and I like to keep our apartment pretty romantic, so the bathroom is the only place with proper lighting. And if you like trees and enjoy wasting time on the internet like myself, watch this video.
